To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don't use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

our house is 17 years old, which coincidentally is the life span of the drawer supports in our kitchen. over the past year i've replaced about a third of the drawer supports, and probably will have more.

So i've been needing these supports. a visit to my local big box home store didn't yield anything, but an extensive search here did finally find some that worked.

these feel a bit heavier than the ones i've got, so hopefully they'll last another 20 years. there are enough holes in the back that you can probably fit these easily into new work, or reuse holes from your old mount if replacing (which is what I did). the color is white, not that it matters, since these things won't be visible during normal usage.

when getting these things, the three things you'll want to check is the width of your supports, the height, and how deep they need to be to hold your slide supports securely. that's the hard part. i think i measured the sliders and then took a micrometer to the remains of the old support to get the correct width. most of these will support multiple widths, though, so you'll want to check that.

i picked up a bunch of these, so the next time i have a support blow out i don't have to wait for delivery of new ones. if you've got a house with drawers coming to this age, when the first one breaks go ahead and pick up a few extra, because the rest will probably be having issues shortly. i also recommend replacing both at the same time, even if one of them is still working. why? because the unbroken one has gone through as many cycles and as much stress, and it's a matter of time.

The original socket (plastic) lasted 18 years, the new replacement socket (also plastic) lasted 18 days!
I don't understand why they make them so cheap; for a literal fraction of a penny per part, you can mold this with better quality plastic.
Anyway, it goes without saying if you're looking for Drawer Rails Mounting Sockets, I'd suggest you look elsewhere and spend a few cents more and get better quality or you'll be replacing it again soon, just like me.

So I got these to replace some 25 years old plastic parts to hold the rails for a slide-out shelf in my cabinets. After 6 months these gave out like my old units did, meaning that the bottom plastics broke and the rails fell out of these holders. Frustrating. I have zipped tied them, for now, to see if that lasts any longer. The shelves are holding our plastic storage and Tupperware so weight is not the issue. Just odd.

Not an easy install. Make sure the width on the rails is right on with the front and the height is equal. These appear sturdier in every way than the old ones which were crystalizing. They also have more bracing support. I saw reviews saying they are weaker than original and I find that hard to imagine. Time will tell. Perhaps it was a different model as reviews get lumped together on "like items". Hole pattern is different so do not expect to use existing holes. I had to move these outside of the original. Every one seemed to pose a different problem. The last drawer bumped the material, preventing the drawer from closing the last three inches. They are thicker material than original. Relocation did not help. I got frustrated and used my orbital sander to round the inside edges and the drawer dropped into place. All my rails, once installed, were snug.

Ordered these to replace another set of the same item that broke after less than a year. The replacement mounting sockets worked great for about month, then broke. They are supposedly rated for 75 lbs each, and two of them were supporting a drawer that weighed considerably less than 20 lbs.

So two orders of these sockets, used on the same drawer, and both breaking after a short time doing light duty. This is simply unacceptable. I'm replacing them with steel ones and advising against anyone else using these to fix their drawers.

These little ******** are a PITA to install I can't even articulate the profanity that I invented doing like 27 cubbies with these things. It took days and your reaching way up in there with a drill you can't even see the screws are tiny and they don't fit the rails like the factory you sort of have to twist them in and they don't actually sit all the way in they just sort of end up "good enough". But they do the job I guess and are cheap.

These are actually slightly heavier than the original sockets in our breakfront, so hopefully they will last longer. (The original ones did last about 15 years before they cracked and broke.)

I would caution purchasers that these sockets are inset slightly more to the center of the drawer than the original. So, at least in my case, I had to space them slightly further apart horizontally than the original ones. In other words, the mounting holes for the left new socket needed to be about ½ inch left of the original; likewise, holes for the right one about ½ inch to the right.

After shopping for a long time I settled on these to try to fix 2. bathroom vanity drawers that had been broken and a great source of frustration for me. The original ones that came in the vanity broke. I looked to replace the whole vanity but discovered it was out of my budget. Even though the did not appear to be an exact shape/size match , these work like a charm. I had to save the old screw fittings from the original brackets to install these new ones in the existing holes. I used 4 other regular screws making new mounting holes to totally secure them. The drawers work well now. I bought extras in case these break down over time. For now I am so glad I have working vanity drawers in my bathroom again. I recommend this whole heartedly!!

It is nice to be able to find these replacement drawer supports for my old drawers. I overload a few drawers and eventually these supports get stressed and break. Hopefully these last. They seem to be decent quality.

The "Blum" rear mounting socket is better because the "Prime Line" does not fit tight on the rail. There is slack with this brand, I ended up finding "Blum" at REVE for a lot cheaper than Amazon.
